LICENSE FEES & REQUIREMENTS
Your black bear operator/guide provides you with a black bear "validation certificate" only in the hunt rates. In addition to the outfitting hunt rates, each hunter is responsible for purchasing prior to arrival a valid Ontario Outdoors Card, a bear hunting license(tag) and an optional fishing license.
We encourage hunters booking with us to educate themselves in regards to there non-resident hunting requirements, accreditation and license costs by visiting Hunting licence (non-residents of Ontario) | ontario.ca for fishing license costs visit Fishing licence (non-residents of Canada) | ontario.ca
You will require proof of hunters training or equivalent resident rifle hunting license from your respective state, province or country in order to be issued the following. (A bow only hunting non-resident license WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED).
Don't wait to the last minute!!! Although online applications to receive your outdoors card, hunting accreditation and subsequent bear license will alleviate any interruptions in your hunt, this process could take a few weeks. While simply attending an Ontario license issuer could give you quick results, it could also lead to worst delays that would ruin your week of hunting.

License issuers:
There are several authorized hunting and fishing license issuers in Ontario that can issue hunting and fishing licenses. Be aware not all personnel have the same knowledge of non-resident hunting requirements which could result in delays in getting your license. These are beyond the control of the outfitter.
**Ensure the license issuer makes a copy of your hunting license (required to be sent to MNRF) as you will not receive your 3 year outdoor card until you respond to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s request to provide proof of valid hunting license**
